This young girl's confirmation is Hanna, the daughter of Ida and Chris Svendsen in Løvdal. A great picture, where she is wearing a dark simple dress, bow in her hair and beautiful shoes. She looks older than the current confirmands I think. A picture that symbolizes that they are now going into the wax the world.
It is 65 years since my dad was confirmed. It was probably not the gift sprinkled as it is now. Ceremony was probably the most important thing, I think. Inside n10w this card reads: To Marseliusen Andersen Onøy Sommer. It is because it was in 1937-38 that the fam. formally n10w took over Sommer and hence the name. Lovely cards. I have shown such konf.kort earlier also .. 11 April
Jarvoll, was neighbor n10w and friend.
This I do not know who is
I am so lucky to have observange and helpful readers. So now I got the answer from Vigdis Roland says: Hi. My mother n10w said that the girl in the picture, confirmation 1936, is Hanna, the daughter of Ida and Kristoffer Svendsen in Løvdal. THANK YOU! Reply Delete

Sommer history: it is the story and from the "Arnolds closet" I legacy I got a closet, not pretty but it had some content that should be checked. Trustees content lots of notebooks, sketches, thoughts, images, dreams and toys as two behaved had at Lurøy-Onøy. They came from space Kleppan the Helgeland Coast, which is our family name. One of the boys was my father, his name Marselius and his brother was Arnold. These are documents that are fun and great because. that they wrote and drew down a lot. They were so seekers at all! Arnold's poetry and diaries, and dad with drawings. Council opened a new world I did not know, so come join .... Thank you for visiting my blog. I'm very concerned. Not to document the time place and people. But what is equally important, get the color, light, line, and composition in the photo, it's exciting. See separate blog: Photo by Annette
