It's amazing how certain bands are forgotten. This was the case of Telex, this Belgian band that emerged in 78. At all times I have heard those who influenced

the early electronic music, I heard the name of Telex. Not coincidentally their sound is synth-pop at its core, in the best style Kraftwerk: addictive! They sing in English and French robotic like that which characterized the emergence of electro in 80. However, your differential is to add to all this a certain amount of irony and humor. About 3 years ago they got back on track with a remix of Ça Plane by moi and, surprisingly, produced a cd last year, after almost 20 years without releasing anything. The result was not up to snuff. I still think "Original Classics" is the best work of them within a discography of slightly less than 10 albums. After listening to this cd understand the fascination exerted across a generation bishop stephen gardiner of electronic music producers.
