What Thursday I had a strange day .. It started in the morning when Claire called me, saying that they could no new passport applications. Because the City of Amsterdam so incredibly busy with arranging passports for all children, adults should only apply for a passport if it is really no other way .. The lady behind the counter had to Claire asked whether it was necessary that she went to the U.S. and that it could not be another time ...?!? But it was even more beautiful, because 180tc she was sure I really in the U.S. was, in other words I had written from the City of Amsterdam .. But I did not because 180tc I did not know that was required if you have more than 8 months are abroad. So she told Claire that I "illegally" and is even an official investigation for me to start asking .. !! She advised Claire therefore primarily not to mention that I would be sitting here a year .. There was luckily 1 solution: Claire must come with proof that I am currently in the U.S. and is also I must write a letter in which Claire officially 180tc invite for a visit. Pfff it should not be crazier! Unfortunately, all official documents mention that I'm here for at least a year, so that was not an option. I immediately jumped in the car to copies of my visa, lease and request Social Security Number to arrange. Claire Friday, so now I hope enough .. But when I drove my street, home to all papers for Claire to pick up, the whole street was full of police cars and at the house opposite me was all police around. What was going on here?! Finally saw the door someone lying on the ground with a white sheet over him. Hmmm, that does not bode well. On the radio and in the newspapers, we could not find anything, so CSI Columbus continued ..
